Pride Health is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist (OB/GYN) to support our client’s medical facility in Charlotte, NC 28204. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist (Obstetrics/Gynecology)
Location: Charlotte, NC 28204
Shift: 8 am-4:30 pm
Duration: 13-Week with possible ext.
Travel Pay: $2560 - $2660
Local Pay: $57 - $60.5/hr. on W2
Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing various ultrasound procedures, primarily focusing on obstetrical and gynecological studies. This role involves assisting in clinical and administrative duties while ensuring adherence to established guidelines and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform obstetrical and gynecological ultrasounds in compliance with ACOG guidelines.
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound studies, assessing fetal growth, development, and anomalies.
- Perform fetal and umbilical doppler studies and ultrasound guidance for invasive procedures.
- Assist physicians with procedures and verify orders prior to patient visits.
- Monitor and record vital signs, manage medical records, and assist with inventory management.
- Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-risk OB environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound program or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sonography.
- ARDMS certification in Ob/Gyn and BLS required.
- 1-3 years of experience in high-risk OB ultrasound preferred.
- Ability to lift and maneuver ultrasound equipment and interact with patients in various settings.
Skills and Physical Requirements:
- Strong physical stamina to operate equipment and assist with patient movement.
- Ability to work under pressure with empathy and professionalism.
- Experience in fetal echo is a plus.
